AMS in the Community
AMS is committed to giving back to the community that has supported us right from the start. Below are some of the events and charities we have been a part of over the last couple of years.
AMS helped collect $ for the Haiti earthquake victims by donating $5 for every $1 donated by its patients.
AMS collected new toys and books for children aged 2 to 15 for the Christmas holiday by placing a box and posters at the clinic reception to collect the toys. These were donated to the Sun Youth Organisation. Read the thank you letter from Sun Youth by clicking here.
AMS collected non-perishable food items for the Christmas & New Year by placing a collection box with flyers sensitizing patients and staff to donate. These were donated to Moisson Montreal. Read the thank you letter from Moisson Montreal by clicking here.

AMS is a proud supporter & sponsor of CancerFightClub and with AMS's tradition of giving back to the community helping cancer victims that need therapy is our way of reach out to those in need. Far more than just an online community for those affected by AYA cancer diagnoses, CancerFightClub is a comprehensive, highly integrated platform that seeks to a) disseminate a full complement of resources and information from across the cancer trajectory to meet AYA needs and b) connect AYAs to each other. The site will provide virtually instant access to the support services and information AYAs require – be it medical, psychosocial, life management issues or peer support – to help them navigate their cancer experience.
Through our Question & Answer portal, members of the CancerFightClub community will be able to submit questions to a panel of dedicated professionals and receive answers within a 72-hour period. Professionals on this panel include oncologists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, dietitians and exercise/rehabilitation specialists.
In addition to these services, CancerFightClub offers young adults an interactive online community where they can support one another privately, through our member-to-member messaging, or publicly, through our blog and forum. Featuring contributions from patients and professionals, our blog will focus on the breadth of issues facing the AYA cancer community, enabling them to break through their isolation and benefit from the experiences of their peers.
AMS services( physio, OT, acu, massage) are all offered to these patients referred by CancerFightClub at a 30% rebate.

AMS is also a proud supporter & sponsor of Adrenaline Women. Adrenaline Women is an elite women's dragonboat team. The team Adrenaline Women began in 2007. Following a qualification for national championships in 2009, the team was presented at the World Championships by crew of Macau in 2010. Very proud of its performance, the team now aims to continue its ascent and qualify for the upcoming championships to be held this time in Hong Kong.

Congratulations to our local athletes for their bronze medal at the 2012 dragonboat world championships!
