L\u2019ost\u00e9oporose est une condition \u00e9vitable dans laquelle les os deviennent fragiles et peuvent se briser lors d\u2019une chute mineure ou, dans les cas graves, d\u2019un simple \u00e9ternuement. Environ 24% des patients \u00e2g\u00e9s de 50 ans et plus meurent dans l\u2019ann\u00e9e suivant leurs fractures.<\/p>\n<p>Malheureusement, il n\u2019existe aucun rem\u00e8de connu pour l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose, mais les bonnes nouvelles sont que les sympt\u00f4mes peuvent \u00eatre trait\u00e9s, avec plusieurs pouvant inverser leur masse osseuse en diminution et pouvant \u00e9galement devenir plus forts. Pour les hommes et femmes d\u2019\u00e2ges vari\u00e9s, l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose peut \u00eatre trait\u00e9e avec un programme complet comprenant des changements de style de vie comme l\u2019alimentation, l\u2019exercice et les m\u00e9dicaments.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai r\u00e9cemment lu un article tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant d\u2019une revue scientifique portant sur l\u2019exercice et l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose. L\u2019objectif de l\u2019\u00e9tude \u00e9tait d\u2019\u00e9valuer les effets de diff\u00e9rents types d\u2019exercices avec poids sur la masse osseuse \u00e0 la hanche et \u00e0 la colonne vert\u00e9brale chez les femmes en pr\u00e9-m\u00e9nopause. Les conclusions furent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La combinaison d\u2019exercices \u00e0 fort impact avec des exercices de r\u00e9sistance furent efficaces pour augmenter la densit\u00e9 des min\u00e9raux des os \u00e0 la colonne lombaire (bas du dos) et \u00e0 la hanche (col f\u00e9moral)<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019adh\u00e9rence aux exercices \u00e0 fort impact seulement furent efficaces pour augmenter la densit\u00e9 des min\u00e9raux des os \u00e0 la hanche (col f\u00e9moral).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ces conclusions peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s utiles aux patients \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard d\u2019une prise de contr\u00f4le de leurs \u00e9tats de sant\u00e9. De prendre uniquement des suppl\u00e9ments de calcium vous aidera mais ne maximisera pas vos chances de r\u00e9duire le risque d\u2019une fracture.
