Laurent Taieb
Mobile Occupational Therapist
Laurent Taieb, occupational therapist since 1998. I am a graduate of France and the University of Montreal.
I worked for 23 years with a musculoskeletal and peripheral neurological clientele in private practice and with road and industrial accident victims. I was able to train and apply skills in functional capacity assessment and development, neuropathic pain rehabilitation, with a particular interest in hand rehabilitation.
In recent years, I have developed a number of programs geared towards elderly and neurological clients, as well as CBT, offering assessments of driving ability, adaptation of vehicles for people with disabilities, and related services such as access to paratransit, allocation of disabled stickers, parking spaces and assessment of ability.
At the same time, I offer workstation assessment services in companies and at home, to complement the work of health professionals such as massage therapists, osteopaths and acupuncturists, by eliminating the causes of pain generated by computer work; a context precipitating post COVID.
My personality drives me to treat each customer as if they were my own family, giving them the best service at every encounter.
I also have a passion for proprioceptive neurotapping as part of my interventions.
I have developed skills in postural assessment, which are very useful in my ergonomic and rehabilitation work.
Finally, I value interdisciplinary teamwork for its richness in knowledge sharing and personal and interpersonal enrichment.
I’d be delighted to join you, and will be available for any intervention in a spirit of complementarity.
